The AFS Pro 600 Planter Operator's Manual for version 21.* software (document #87474985) contains documentation for As-Applied software faults AA-001, AA-002, and AA-003.  Three additional As-Applied faults are not documented in the operator's manual.

These three faults and their corresponding documentation are as follows:

Fault Number: AA-004
Fault Title: Product Application Warning
Fault Text: Seed control active without layer assignment - data is not being logged. Assign seed control layer to log data.
This fault indicates that seeding has been detected, but that no seed control layer is assigned in the Work Condition, so no data is being logged and no map is being created.  Go to Work Condition > Layer, and assign a Seed layer to the map.

Fault Number: AA-005
Fault Title: RX "x" Rate Warning

Fault Text: Layer "x" RX rate is out of range. RX rate was modified. See product definition.

This fault indicates that the prescription file being used to control "x" layer (where "x" represents "Seed", "Liquid", etc.) is requesting a rate that falls outside of the Min Rate and Max Rate parameters defined for the Product assigned to "x" layer.  Go to Toolbox > Product, and adjust the Min Rate and Max Rate to accomodate the prescription rates, or adjust the prescription using the desktop software.

Fault Number: AA-006
Fault Title: Container Warning
Fault Text: One or more container problems have been detected that will affect container tracking.
This fault indicates that problems have been detected with one or more defined containers, and that tracking product application by container will be impacted.  Go to Toolbox > Contnr to view and fix the problems.

Yes.  You should always assign a Default Rate for the Product when defining a Product in the Product Setup screen (Toolbox > Product).

You should also assign the Min Rate, Max Rate, and Delta Rate for the Product.  This will ensure that the Product setup is completed successfully.

When a prescription is exported from the desktop software, the software will ask the user for a default rate to be used when the vehicle leaves the prescription zone.  If a default rate is not specified, the prescription will use a default rate of "0" for product application outside the prescription zone.

The Default Rate assigned in the Product Setup screen (Toolbox > Product) is only used during manual product application.
