For customers on version 25.* display software, you will need to complete 3 steps to delete your calibration loads and reset your C values back to the default values so that you can start fresh this harvest.  (The steps below must be completed for each Crop Type for which you want to restore the default calibration values.)

1.  Go to Calibrations > Moisture, and select the Advanced calibration procedure.  Select each Task (one at a time) that is currently used as a moisture calibration Task.  (These will be shown in italics.)  For each Task, change the "Use as Cal Load" selector from "Yes" to "No".  When all Moisture Calibration Tasks have been set to "No", press the Calibrate button in the lower right corner of the screen.

2.  Go to Calibrations > Yield, and select the Advanced calibration procedure.  Select each Task (one at a time) that is currently used as a yield calibration Task.  (These will be shown in italics.)  For each Task, change the "Use as Cal Load" selector from "Yes" to "No".  When all Yield Calibration Tasks have been set to "No", press the Calibrate button in the lower right corner of the screen.

3.  Go to Calibrations > Crop, and select the desired Crop Type (i.e. Corn).  From the "Import Cal Values From" picklist, select "Default".  Press the "Import" button.

The default calibration values for each Crop Type are listed on the righthand side of the Calibrations > Crop screen.  After completing Step 3, compare these values with the default values listed in the Yield Monitor operators manual.  This will confirm that the default values have been restored correctly.

Case IH announces the release of an update for version 10.0 desktop software.  After the update has been installed, the desktop software version will be 10.01.

This update is available for automatic download/installation via the "Check for Updates" feature in the AFS desktop software.  The "Check for Updates" feature allows the desktop software to be updated via an internet connection.  This means that Case IH can deliver software updates to users more quickly, and typically without the need for CDs or other media.

To use the "Check for Updates" feature, click Help > Check for Updates, then follow the prompts.  In addition, the desktop software will automatically check for updates every 30 days.

The version 10.01 update does not provide any enhancements related to Case IH AFS file formats, and is not a mandatory update.

For additional information regarding this update, or to request an update CD, contact the Case IH AFS Desktop Software Support Center at 888-CASE-AFS.
